Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how FanHub uses cookies and similar technologies on the FanHub website (fanhub.id) and in the FanHub dashboard (app.fanhub.id). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related browser-storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage); for simplicity we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (always on)

These are required for the Service to work. You cannot opt out — if they are blocked, the Service will not function correctly.

  • Authentication — keeps you signed in and proves your session is genuine. Set by Supabase Auth on app.fanhub.id. Lifespan: session + refresh token (30 days).
  • CSRF protection — prevents cross-site request forgery on state-changing actions. Lifespan: session.
  • Cookie consent — remembers your cookie preference so we don't re-prompt every visit. Stored in localStorage with a 12-month lifespan.

2.2 Analytics (opt-in)

These help us understand which features are used and where users get stuck. We do not use them until you opt in via the cookie banner.

  • Product analytics — page views, feature usage, session length. We use first-party server-side analytics where possible to minimize third-party data sharing.

2.3 Marketing (not used)

FanHub does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.

3. Managing cookies

You can change your preferences at any time:

  • Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer to reopen the consent banner.
  • Configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.

4. Lawful basis

We rely on your consent (UU PDP Article 20(1)(a), GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) for analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in operating the Service (UU PDP Article 20(1)(f), GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and could not function otherwise.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or trade cookie data. Where third-party sub-processors are involved (e.g. analytics providers when enabled), they act as data processors on our behalf under contractual obligations described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our cookie usage evolves. Material changes will be announced via the cookie banner.
